He is enrolled with different international organization, UNICEIF, WHO, ICRC, IOM and others as programs manager and expert.
Prof Hamid has worked as environmental expert ant ministry of environment, Iraq. He also served as training consultant, researcher, and programs manager at ministries of health and higher education and scientific research in different Middle East and North Africa region.
He is member of editorial Board of Middle east journal of internal medicine, Middle east journal of age and aging, middle east journal of Alzheimer and psychiatry, member of different international, regional and national associations e.g. APHA, IEA, MENAPF, EMAME, American college of occupational and environmental medicine, American college of Epidemiology , American academy of family medicine, Canadian College of family physician
He is qualified with PhD family and community medicine, Higher diploma respiratory Diseases Edge hills University UK, fellowship of institute for international education/ New York, Master course of Epidemiogy and biostatistics / American University of Beirut, training certificates on Public Health ( north Carolina, Johan Hopkins and Harvard) and Canada college for family physicians
Prof Hamid has supervised more than( 20 ) PhD thesis , 10 MSc thesis ,achieved about 50 research work and contribute to CDC textbook on Ethics in Public Health. He has been published about (45 ) paper at different international journals.
